What is the BEST thing about BA for you?

What do you think is BA's best feature? What is your favourite part of BA? or indeed what do you think BA does better than any other airline?
Just curious. A lot of people have complaints on here (myself included)! But I am curious as to what people think BA does the best or indeed is their favourite thing about BA, that you just don't get elsewhere.

I'll kick off. My favourite part of the BA experience is undoubtedly the staff. From phone to ground to air to cockpit. BA staff, to me, on the whole, are just the best. American carriers are dreadful in this regard, and eastern airlines have plenty smiles, but they just seem a bit painted on. Seeing BA staff ready to take you home and help you out after a knackering week of work abroad in a foreign land is just really reassuring.

Nothing compares to BA staff in my book.

P.S. The BA app is actually by far the best out there. Fantastic airline app. For many many reasons.

That they donít have a monopoly on regional flights in the ME. No longer a prisoner to their routes. The grass is greener.

Cabin crew. So much more natural than many other airlines.

I like than when BA ground staff refuse to through-check bags, are inexplicably unable to get their computer system to do something simple, can't answer simple questions, etc., they do it with a smile. Never an arrogant groan or miserable excuse, too.

I like it when BA flight attendants run out of things like diet coke, in club, on the longer short-haul flights, and then tell club passengers they have to buy it off the trolley in the back - with a smile, and never an arrogant groan or miserable excuse. That's just the best.

The only complaint I've ever had to make was about a seat defect, and it was something minor I just wanted to make sure they had logged for the next time it was in maintenance. My favourite part is probably the staff, from check in to cabin crew, I've always found them very pleasant.

The staff. Definitely near the top of my favourites for overall quality.

I agree on the staff but disagree on their app being the best out there, hard to believe but the best app out there is United.

A friend of mine raves on about the United App too - apparently you can literally seat shift until you are boarding which allows empty seat next door etc

As others have said it's the genuine nature of the crew. You can fly SQ and get a smiling automaton. You fly BA and you get real people. Yes that sometimes comes with downsides but overall I prefer it. I am very fond of the ladies who guard the lounge in SIN where I spend a lot of time. I also like Club World, maybe it's just familiarity but it feels like home.

Maybe also I am an example of being "trapped by status" but I like that I get upgraded a lot and get looked after as somebody who spends a lot of time & money on their planes.

BAEC is a very solid programme
RFS is excellent for short bus journeys across Europe
GUFs and Jokers are a good benefit
Theoretical seating - means I can get a better than CE experience (row 1 excepted) on SH
Ability to sleep on short overnight sectors between JFK/PHL versus on AA
BA App is generally pretty solid - not the best out there, but the best in Europe by far
Crews are generally good, but not wildly better than other carriers
The GGL phone line is very useful

Overall, I can get better ground and onboard products elsewhere fitting my needs better.
