Mistake or Legit F Fare?
I just snagged JFK-LHR-DEL rt for US$5411 in F. I could not find an AI F fare (or even a QR J fare) anywhere close to that price on my dates. What gives?

Looks like a great deal but not a mistake. Having paid nearly double that previously for PHX-LHR-BOM in CW, that's a great fare. It looks like a BA promotional fare (ARCNA0S/DIF8), that is valid on dates with traditionally slow business travel (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and summer) for the TATL segment. Remarkably it only requires a 7-day advance purchase assuming there's availability in A class.

Good fare, Babu. Even if you spend avios plus the " fees" of $ 1200 + you may not get the benefits of avios & TPs earned earned, seat selection etc. Do let us know how the flights, crew & food will be like. (shubh yatra!).
