If you're seated facing rearwards in Club World you must adopt this position

Is there a reason why in the safety video Agent Scully's and Alex Cruz's right arms are shown going under their left in the rear Club World brace position? Or does it not matter?

For example, maybe the intention is that since most people are right handed if the left arm takes the first hit they are more likely to have their main hand available during and after the evacuation.

Or does it not matter?

Does the video tell you to do it the other way around if you are left handed?

Meanie! I used to be left handed when I was young many years ago. I was "corrected" as I was growing up and now a right handed.

Meh, BA [appears to] do the minimum required by law to meet safety standards for things like this - dunno why you'd expect them to add something additional for left-handers. Sounds like an extra cost.

That kind of "correction", was a mean part of the history, but IIRC a habit still running in parts of the world.
Hoping you (and others) noticed the question mark ending my post quoted.

Tried a short add-on and timed it - 5 seconds. Cutting a second here and there in the running presentation, there wouldn't have been further costs.

If you're right handed and you cross your arms, doesn't the left arm go over the right arm instinctively? To me, it just feels slightly more natural.

Only if you want to incur a very heavy fine. The left hand is clearly for attracting attention, should you be one of those people who enjoys attention!

Is that before or after Ramsay has picked up his rather fetching bag from under the seat in front of him? Does he use his bag in any way to get attention or can he do that without props?
