Minimally proud day

as I break 1000 tier points for the first time in a collection year!

I know that pales compared to most on here but I did enjoy seeing it tick over :-)

And I have until Oct to push more through ....

You are showing classic signs of TP addiction, which will require that push to Gold ... however, this will provide only temporary relief, of course, before the process starts al over again!,

Good for you. ^

I'll do well getting my life time tier points into four figures.

Well done on your 1000TP. Fast forward and the addiction kicks in like crack if your not too careful.

My minimally proud moment today was seq 001..

I can always find something to crow about every flight no manner how insignificant if I stoop low enough.

A golden future awaits the OP, and silly as it seems it's very relatable, at least to someone who hovered around 'just about silver' for a couple of years.

But your comment made me think - what's the most insignificant 'win' a frequent flyer has claimed? 51% of the armrest?

My secret tip-of-the-day, HIDDY :
the liftetime TP’s tend to rack up more quickly if you actually fly now & then

I'm not into acquiring and maintaining BA status - a shocker of a thing to say on here I know.

I'm easy....if the price is right I'll fly with any airline even AR.

As I've got older (not wiser), the thought of flying tends to fill me with dread*. Unfortunately, I have to do it for work.

Even premium class travel doesn't hold the attraction it once did. Staycations are the way forward I think

*Looking forward to 05:05 flight MAN-FAO next week

I’d say your ‘policy’ is a good one ^

As an aside - and by way of complete trivia - my post count happens to be around a thousand below my current lifetime BAEC tier points tally (my points would be higher had I not spent so many flying years outwith the OW umbrella). Just imagine what status you would have by now if your own TP total was anywhere close to your FT post count

@ DYKWIA. - these days, I can pretty much choose when & where I travel ; and feel privileged to be able to do so.

You have my sympathy !

If only tier points existed when I first flew BEA and BAEC allowed me to join the programme when it started my lifetime total might be into double figures. It's so easy now compared to the 'old days'.
