You spookily wake up on an East Coast or Middle East overnighter seconds before before the Captain makes his 40 minutes to landing speech....

When the Novotel meet+greet guy in CAI is picking up another guy at immigration as well. After figuring out that you are both doing a b2b the first question you get asked is "are you going to Hawaii".

When you can't remember what the inside of the T3 galleries lounge looks like.

Brilliant, thank you. I had been aware of these (not the -4 button though) but we've not used them. I feel they would be much more pleasant than the shuttle scrum (The only underground train you'd ever see me on, claustrophobic) but I'm always too groggy (mildly hungover) post flight to remember.

It's during pushback and when in an exit seat you can stretch out and help.

When you wait for 20 minutes at the carousel for your check-in luggage, complain to yourself about the inconsistency of priority bags delivery and realise you have travelled HBO on that trip.

If you're first in the lift press -4 and then others will assume you've pressed the correct button. Doors open, everyones confused but they follow you and then notice the signs to arrivals.

I did that at Istanbul after running into KARFA and walking out thrilled to meet someone off FT, I didn't realise until I got to the hotel that I had a suitcase lol!

that's an evil thing to do to people who have just got off a long haul flight :-)

To add another ; explaining the intricacies of the BA theoretical seating algorithm to a bemused flight attendant

This is very appropriate just now...

Being recognised, by name, by a QR crew member from 2 years ago who remembers me from 3 flights, at my current hotel in a destination completely different to any I’ve flown with QR to.
Flabbergasted.
