Expedia booking - Upfare afterwards
Hi,
one of my clients is using an Expedia based booking engine; thus it will be a TA issued e-ticket with BA. I'm aware of the restrictions (no POUG, no changes through MMB). However, is it still possible to upfare afterwards with calling the BA hotline? I know some airlines such as CX do not allow any changes if the ticket has been issued by a TA. What's the situation with BA?
My client is booking into WT+ (E) and I'm aiming to pay up to CW.

Avios upgrade should be OK (unless it is not a public fare), as would an upgrade at the airport. Fare difference over the phone won't work.
If it's booking into E, you've a reasonable chance of an operational upgrade as a OWE as BA is not afraid of overselling the premium economy cabin.
