OP - you’re a better person than me.
I’d be reporting this incident directly to BA - naming and shaming the member of staff involved: no ifs, no buts. To hell with his promotion - the guy appears to have some serious behavioural problems and shouldn’t be entrusted with a senior cabin crew position.

I was offered a bottle of sparkling wine, which I declined. I didn’t complain as I felt guilted out of it by the promotion thing.

Quite.
As the OP works for an Australian firm, he must know the national anthem by now.
I was down by Bondi pier - drinking tubes of ice cold beer
with a bucket full of prawns upon my knee
When I swallowed the last prawn - I had a Technicolor yawn
And I chundered in the old Pacific Sea
Drink it up Drink it up
Have another dozen tubes and prawns with me
If you want to throw your voice, mate - you'll have no bl...dy choice
Than to chunder in the old Pacific Sea

I can understand people saying that OP's experience more than justified a complaint. I agree. But months later? No. Potential witnesses, including the person being accused of behaving unacceptably, are highly unlikely to have any reliable memories of that flight -- and the promotion question has probably long been decided.

Plenty of people have already highlighted important points on this thread.
i tried to imagine what I would do in that situation and I would definitely complain, I know I would have been livid at first but I think what would compel me to complain most would be that the CC in question would not face me after to apologise.
we all lose our cool sometimes; I have idea what else was going on in the J cabin, and I’m sure most on her would argue it doesn’t matter, but I think what defines people is their ability to admit it when they are wrong and be the bigger man, and that is what would frustrate me most about this situation and make me complain.

As a start, have a look at this thread: What is "Mixed Fleet" - what does it mean?
Edit:
Working now from the link in the quoted message - weird.

Sorry to hear you had that type of experience. Don’t let it put you off, this type of behaviour is very rare in my opinion, BA crews are generally very good.
I would certainly be raising a complaint regarding the crew member.
