Silver guesting at T3

Hi All,
I just have a question about an upcoming trip I have to Miami on BA from T3.
I am flying in F and 3 pals are flying in WTP, and one has a silver card. Does this mean with my guesting rights and one friend with a silver card we can all get in the BA club lounge?
Also, what’s the deal with the Qantas, CX etc lounges with our set up...can we access them?
Many thanks in advance.

Hi,

Apologies . You will all be able to get in to the Club lounges.
Same with the OW lounges

Your friend with the silver card can guest another friend into the C lounge.

I think you will be 1 person with status short to bring the remaining guest in ( you could ask at BA Club but expect to be turned down)

Same access rules at the other OW lounges.

Am I missing something? 4 people travelling. Two get access and get to guest another two in. Everybody gets lounge access. To the business class lounges obviously.

Hi ringingitup.

Apologies. A bit too early in the morning and got confused. I have amended by post.

Well spotted!

OP does not say if they have status. If they do then 4 people can get into the lounges. Without then only 3 can get in. I would look to split and perhaps see if your friend can guest a friend to join you in a lounge and then go off to another lounge with the second friend.

In the OPs shoes I would head to CX J if you want something to eat (maybe taking one friend into the F lounge) and if you want a drink, perhaps try the gin bar in QF.

The OP is travelling in F and therefore can guest one person in. Someone else has Silver status and can guest the 4th passenger in.

Yes! And the BA Galleries lounge, the Cathay Pacific business class lounge (recommended for noodles and dim sum), and the AA business class lounge.

Thought that was only a CCR exception, but on checking seems to be a oneworld benefit when traveling in F. Wonder why they do this but not in J?

Only ever travelled in F from T5, so not checked for elsewhere.
