Ended up here for 4 hours earlier this week due to a flight delay.
Very impressive liquor selection. Sadly it was a little early for me to start hitting the scotch but I liked knowing I could have had JW Blue or a high label Glenlivet
I prefer the Charles VII Champagne to what they had (whose brand I've already forgotten)
I ended up making such a nice lunch out of the hot options (and some of the Coronation Rice and chicken and potato salad) I didn't need the menu. Everything was actually quite good
Judging from my fellow passengers, the burger is very popular

The other day it was closed because of “not enough people “– I wasn’t sure if this was not enough staff or not enough passengers. Given that there are absolutely no first class seats out of Gatwick now, I suspect it was the latter. Went in the club lounge – very pleasant.

Any update on what the lunch/afternoon selections are? I will be there in a couple of weeks for the first time in years, in advance of a 1715 to FAO.
And is there really JW Blue!?

Current LGW GF afternoon offering for the menu. There are items out as well on the buffet, but just a curry in terms of hot items so the table order menu is more extensive.
