2 Avios Rewards Seats in First on a 789?

Curious if anyone has ever managed to snag 2 First rewards seats on a flight operated by a 789? My usual route seems to have gone to mostly dreamliners, which is making using a 241 all the more difficult for First seats.

I got two reward seats from SJC to LHR in F in September last year. That was operated on a 789

Cant remember but don’t think availability was there on everyday, I flew on a Monday. Also booked the maximum days out (355 days?) as soon as released at 2am

OT, but when are you going there? I’m thinking of burning a 241 and GGL joker (if necessary) to go there.

Clearly going down from 14 seats (or 17 seats in some cases) to 8 First seats is going to have an impact on availability, but they are certainly still available. Without specifics only that general answer will answer the question as posed, but if you wanted to check if it was something at your end, then there are, for example, 2 First available on LHR to SCL out on 22 May, back 29 May 2018, which are offered with 2-4-1 selected.

Yup, LHR-SJC Christmas 2016 and LHR-PEK Christmas 2017. Both times booked in the March.

Ditto. Departing 26 Apr.
IIRC they were released just before 1am the day after the route was announced.

I've had three returns to KUL, two one way from SJC

All five times 2 x F

If you're flexible it's achievable

Yes, we booked the day after the route was announced, for travel in July 2018. We’ve since had to cancel due to a clash with something else.

I've two reward seats SJC-LHR in F in July this year. When I was booking we were flexible for July/August and I was booking in November 2017 and there were four dates open to me in July, none in August.

I booked LHR-SEZ in F on the day BA announced the route - they had 6 F tickets for redemptions think someone must have been over zealous on the keyboard.
