Some A351 training flights are being postponed due to lack of training captains.

Seems, from my brief look, that the 4 flights on the 26th are cancelled (back to 321 and 319), but the flights on 27-29 remain. Cant see any additions yet.

Looks like 27th and 28th are gone too.

Is there any provision for a free change to another flight or refund with the equipment swap?

No. Aircraft swap will not be covered. I was flying back 26 Nov anyway so it is what it is.

i cancelled booking for 27th today. I was out of 24 hour cooling off by 12 hours but there wasn’t an issue getting a full refund of points /2 4 1 and Ł100. Agent said you’re entitled to a free cancellation due to change of equipment anyhow - which I don’t think is technically correct. But she said we’ll just give you some grace on cooling off on this occasion.

so - would say it’s worth asking depending on when you booked. I’m tempted to book Friday but now concerned that one will go too..

That’s annoying but I guess I was lucky as only just out of cooling off. I’ve found there is sometimes flexibility -maybe worth you dropping a note on twitter as a gold??

BA460 on 01/12 is now showing as an A350-1000. Could this be a re-scheduled training flight?

It looks the damage is quite extensive. Probably the aircraft will be much delayed in entering service.
