Rebooked for 464/465 on the 25th. Which as others have probably already noted also happens to be the BA anniversary date so probably an interesting day to travel (it was the day of the abortive 747 domestics).

Did it last week. Even went landside for a quick smoke which involves train transfer. If you dont need/want to do that just de-board, walk a bit, follow signs for transit/transfer, through a small security check and back to gate - not a problem.

Menus - standard CE affair. Had enough Champers in F lounge before flight !

Nicely done, sounds like a very sensible plan to enjoy the food, weather and lovely new aircraft. ^^

Heh, you did tell her that the second ticket wasn't actually meant for her didn't you? Enjoy! Welcome to the party! ^ Hope you (both) have a brilliant time!

^ Thanks, I'll update the appropriate wiki bits this afternoon. ^

Safe travels everyone...I'm starting to get my own anticipation ramping up now as well...looking at the seat map, I'm currently in the aft CW cabin for my 465 return tomorrow, still undecided whether to stay there and try it out or go back to row 1/2...

Done it on 11th... short walk to the transfer security which was empty and very quick at this time of the day, then you're go down the escalator and arrive next to Iberia lounge. Had enough time for a drink and a bite, then boarding started. Short walk back to the gate and back on-board.

Great to hear and very much hope this time around it works out and is even better for all the anticipation you must have gone through! ^

With that I'll say that the wiki is up to date and some new graphics included for your amusement!

A real run for the weekend PARTY PLANES it seems, 10 FTers on the 17th and 25th 465's with 9 on the17th 464 and 6 on the 25th 464...which weekend will have more FTers in total? You can help influence this...don't delay book today!

Safe travels everyone. ^

I enjoyed my trip on 464 yesterday. Apologies if my 9 month year old bothered anyone but the club suite does make a good play pen with the door closed and the bed flat! I’m big fan of the smaller cabin at the back.

My only complaint would be that it was a bit warm for me. Hopefully my flight back on Saturday will be cooler.
