The A380 training flight to FRA were very popular with FTers. Had a great day out few years back with a few others.

I'd definitely be interested, I missed out on the A380 training flights and they looked like a lot of fun.

Likewise for me. Took my plane enthusiast son (aged 10 at the time) on one of the A380 FRA flights - great day out, made even better by a tour round the aircraft by the crew and a cockpit visit after the flight.

Thanks, T-UK - at least you are right about BotB! We hatched this up at the Bristol DO a few weeks ago. Nearer the time we will ensure that Nick.t.Davies will bring his spreadsheet skills into the organization process.

Talking of nearer the time, I fear that we will be into Q4 2019. CX's 1st -1000 (B-LXA) is frame 188 and left the paintshop last week with CX talking of putting it into service mid-year BA's 1st -1000 stills seems to be frame 330. Airbus averaged <7 deliveries/month in 2017, got to 10 last month and have spoken about increasing from 10 to 13/month but it is rather dependent on engines and R-R's problems. Nevertheless, looking forward to it, definitely have preferred CX's -900 to the B789.

Some one mentioned LHR-MAD as a training run, HEL is another possibility - a night's stopover with reindeer steak, cloudberry sauce and koskenkorva would provide the basis for a great do!!
