Does 'You First' still exist?

I sent an email to the YouFirst BA email address 3 days ago (requesting spa treatment bookings), but other than an automated response telling me "We're usually quick to respond and will be back in touch as soon as possible - you don't need to send your query again at anytime." I haven't had any response.

Has anyone had any luck contacting You First by email recently? If so what is a typical response time? Or has You First been another victim of BA's death by a 1,000 cuts?

Yes, it still exists. Give them a call and they will make the arrangements for you.

OK. Just seems odd that they can't answer an email after 3 days. I guess that's all part of BA's premium experience these days!

Have you checked your spam folders?

Calling them will likely take less time than posting your question here!

Yes, I have checked. Nothing.

I posted here since I was interested to hear whether others were having a similar issue. Plus maybe others might be interested to be aware of delays when it comes to making their own plans. Also, depending on your working environment it's not always easy to make a personal call, especially when you have the BA hold time lottery to deal with.

Thanks for this reference point. Seems to be a bit of a lottery then!

They do and they've been wonderful for me recently - answering on the first ring during the snow last week, when even the Gold line was out of action (and my F availability had finally appeared).

Give them a call, every time ^

They certainly do still exist. However they don’t seem as helpful as they were.

My mums off in first tomorrow and spoke to them about spa bookings a month out and they weren’t able to offer anything. Seems after some probing that the spa keep slots for on the day walk ups rather than allowing them to be booked by first passengers.

there is something like 500-1000 F customers a day, maybe the slots were taken?

I’ll be surprised if you are waiting for your call to be answered, even at the busiest time you’re looking at just a couple of minutes.

Which begs the question, why can't they reply to a simple email request in 3 days! If they only want people to call, why offer the option to email them?

I will try giving them a call later today if I can.

Interesting. Given T5 traffic is approx 40m PAX per year this works out to about 2% of all PAX.
