Bacon butty crisis: LHR T5 North lounge

For those that choose their morning lounge on butty availability, a quick note to say the above lounge gas no hot items this morning, apparently due to kitchen electrical issues.

Ketchup, brown sauce and pastries still available.

Not just MAN I'm afraid,

“The chicken crossed the road, just not to our restaurants.”

There is a BA connection to that .. DHL are the new supplier to KFC that are having ' supply' problems ... the same DHL who have supply problems of Tourvests (M&S ) sandwiches ?

only 80 out of 900 stores were open, that's a lot of missing 'chicken'

646 of 900 KFCs closed today.

A bit OT other than to say DHL's exploits are probably on a par with the BA IT crisis.

"DHL" is not the old DHL and has not been for some years. It is in fact, the German Post Office. They have a strategy of continuous expansion. They buy up Companies and contracts, and cross their fingers that they can make some money.
The old, reliable DHL, delivering small parcels and documents, is long gone.

Reminds me of Glasgow vs. Edinburgh when it comes to fish and chips. In Glasgow it's, 'salt and vinegar' while in the capital it's, 'salt and sauce'. Many a battle has been fought over which is better!
