Using Avios for CX
Hello, looking to book HKG to KIX using Avios, wondering how far ahead the redemption period start? I’m looking for Feb19, at the moment anything beyond 26/1/19, only those flights go via TPE are available.

Not sure how far in advance CX bookings open up, but can’t imagine a simple short hop to KIX would sell out anytime soon, so when you have a look in BA out a month something should be available.

Thats what I thought, but it’s a bit strange that everyday beyond 26/1 has no direct flight redemption available. I will keep checking everyday, as we need three business tickets and seems they normally only release 4 for each flight.

CX load their availability in blocks and are fairly slack in keeping schedules up to date beyond the next summer/winter period. Likelihood is they just haven't loaded the next lot to KIX yet. There is no availability for Asia Miles either on those dates.
