Booking MasWings redemptions via BAEC

I am looking at booking some ridiculously expensive flights and was hoping to use my BA Avios to get these. Using EF I established partner award availability on MH3006 (operated by Twin Otter MasWings for MH - route: BKI-KUD). When I try to book it I get a 'British Airways and its partners do not fly this route. Please consider alternative destinations or contact your executive club service centre'
Has anyone had any luck actually booking these redemptions and should I call, or is this a lost cause?

Can't answer your question, but where are you getting ridiculously expensive flights from? It's about MYR90 each way on the MH website, which is just a shade over £16 and that's including taxes.

Thanks for your reply! It turns out that I was looking at Sin-Kul-Bki-kud and that comes at £700 return in Y. Interestingly I can get Sin-Kul-Bki for £130 return and then this BKI-Kud for £19 each way! Well spotted!

Note MH have a sale on at the moment which might explain the bargain you're seeing SIN-BKI. It finishes I think on Thursday.

I didn’t think £700 was a bargain tbh

Greetings from BKI

Took this for you this evening nufnuf77 - had a great flight on MASwings on the ATR72 tonight - even catering on a 25 minute segment from LBU.
