The media do seem to have 'great expectations' where CE is concerned. Perhaps we here are the only realists!

I wondered about that too, but on re-reading I think it’s just referring to the lack of white company handwash in the front toilet. First world problems for sure!

BA have jumped nice places in the Skytrax rankings and got the award for Best Cabin Crew in the UK (which I think we can all agree is deserved).

I’m pleaed for the BA CC, but the airline’s ranking is somewhat sad.

Oh dear.
Not a good story for Cabin Crew. Idiots will have a field day...

When BA were high up the ranks we all poured scorn on Skytrax. But when BA fell down to 40th we all said it was probably a fair representation of falling standards.
So whatever, a rise mist either be a reflection of SOME recovery in standards OR falling standards at other airlines.
But so nice to see SQ top of the pile.

I understood they could only be handed out for 'service' on board!

No, I’ve given one to a lady at the Call Centre ... but we were never closer than about 400 miles, Your Honour.

I think that's a bit harsh. When I was lucky enough to meet Can I help you, he was definitely worth more than £8. Maybe not the £800 but the press always exaggerates, don't they?

Thank you I think.
If that crew member can charge £800 with a body like that I’m sure I could raise a little more.

First post in many moons, been way too busy.
Caught a FF programme on R4 at 4 pm 24th July, it was like listening to many of the threads on here combined into a 30 min radio slot! Talking about TP runs, how "addictive" the need to maintaon status etc. I'm guesing the beeb must have had a look on here at some point and I'm guessing some folk on here are keeping quiet about their participation?

Inside the World of the Frequent Flyer was first broadcast in March, and there was an entire thread devoted to it.
