Changing to BAEC after using Asiamiles
Hi All,
I suspect this is a very quick 'no' but just booked a BA flight using some AsiaMiles and can't choose a seat FOC as I am a lowly green - is there a way of using my Gold status with BA to circumvent this? I'd be surprised if so, but if there is a way this forum will tell me I am sure!

I'm not Gold but have you tried doing the obvious - i.e. login to BAEC, enter your booking into MMB, see if it would let you select seats?

Can you not change your frequent flyer number within your booking on CX's website? I have made a booking on CX through AS before, then gone into the CX booking and replaced my AS number with my BA one which allowed me to select seats that were otherwise blocked.

Change your frequent flyer number on finnair.com using your BA reference.
