Boys,

I have been having fun on the GGL Line with a lovely lady ... Tanao.

Firstly a BIG thanks to @OverTheHorizon, @gcuk, @Pilot37, @TPRun, @onobond, @KARFA and @MarkedMan .... for all alerting me to the 'illegal connection pinch points'. Much better to get out ahead of the problem.

After, much nashing of teeth and Tanao having the patience of a saint (and apologising repeatedly for my stupidity - bless her), the penny finally dropped about lining up LHR T3 (ins/outs) and JFK T8 (ins/outs). Hence, I was just (by the skin of the teeth that I had been nashing) able to preserve both the LHR-HEL-LHR and the JFK-LAX-PHX-LAX-JFK 'shuffles'. Lucky me ... as it's 560TPs x 2 plus 160TPs for the positioning. With total Avios (including BA Amex) of 68,992. I suspect there were a few more Avios squeezed out by getting all the non-US Domestic flights onto BA Codeshares. I think I've got at least two of the LHR-HEL Shuffle flights in those lovely Finair A350s as well. Exceeding the ticket's MPM was never mentioned by Tanao. I think 'magical I Class space' appears on BA Codeshare stock when you are in this situation also. The ticket cost was GBP1,542 ... which hadn't changed and isn't as good as some got I think ?

So, here is my revised itinerary ... and apologies to TPRun for asking if you could update them for me again. I am happy to be your Drinks Waiter in the CX or BA First Lounges to make up for it.

Hi all!

Would someone help explain this please? I'm getting confused... and stressed!

I have been rebooked onto the AA0101 (LHR-JFK), AA0117 (JFK-LAX), AA0650 (LAX-PHX) and AA2434 (PHX - JFK) owing to the schedule changes above. I telephoned BA to action this change as the ticket was issued on "125 stock". I received an email from BA confirming the change and it also contained a new 'e-ticket number' showing these four flights.

However, the AA booking does not show these new flights, and shows the old flights and is still prompting me to change the booking. I telephoned AA to confirm the new flights; and they can't see any record of them. Is this normal? Will they just filter through in the coming months? As it stands I can't select any seats. and today, checkmytrip removed the ticket number from the booking...

I'd phone BA but they're closed until tomorrow

Tried the PNR in Classic CMT?

Put the PNR into BA MMB. If it shows all is ok you're fine. Worst case nothing changed and you can do it again tomorrow

Also you can enter the 125 new eticket number in at the MMB equivalent at Saudia.com to check it.

Funny thing is I actually have an employee from CAI, but I don't do originating from there. I need to give it a go and book a good and nice 5 hour connecting time even with a US passport

BA doesn't sweep out old flights on the PNR, so it looks like you're OK. I've ended up at times with two flights to each destinations showing in MMB.
