Sorry this post is a bit late.... but on 15FEB on BA0446 from LHR to AMS, we shared Club Europe with both Ricky Gervais and the dance music DJ / producer duo The Chainsmokers (for those not into the scene, they really are are celebs -- they were Grammy nominated this year and have had a number of top 10 tracks).
The latter was a particularly amusing as my friend and I were on our way to Amsterdam for an entirely different dance music event happening the same night, and thus were completely stunned to see them on our trip.

Former Barclays CEO and LIBOR tinkerer Bob Diamond on BA179, LHR-JFK last night. I was on the upper deck and only saw him when I got to the bottom of the stairs and he was there primed and ready to leave chatting with cabin crew. Not sure what COS he was in, sorry
American wrestler John Cena was also onboard in F. He was pre-boarded with an escort at LHR but at JFK was by himself. According to a quick online wander he was in the UK to promote a film (he was wearing the same suit as he was on Daily Mail's coverage of Good Morning Britain) and is taking part in a WWE event at Madison Square Garden tonight.

apparently Michel Roux Jr was on BA1441 from EDI to LHR today, presumably in Club: https://twitter.com/RyPatts/status/9...298253312?s=20
Unlike many other chef patrons these days, he's at the pass most nights, and takes the time to walk the floor to say hello to everyone individually. A true gent if ever there was one.

He's a very nice chap, very gracious and personable, the OH and I have been lucky enough to have met him very many times, Tuesday evening being the most recent, when he cooked for my birthday... along with about 60 others (none of whom were aware who I was, nor that it was my birthday I hasten to add).

Howard it wasn’t a slight, you may not be aware Michel has admitted the staff do not see any of the service charge it is treated 100% as revenue by the restaurant. No doubt Le Gavroche staff are well paid but if the service does not go to the staff then the customer should receive a bill with no mention of service.

stevie's comment alluded to the way it had been reported that gratuities were, or were not, distributed at LG.
Your reply was a rather odd non sequitur, which drew my comment. Sorry if that offended you.
