Minimum 560TP or 640 with short connection. Maybe someone can get a 2000+ connection to price without adding significantly to the cost?
Further to my earlier post, I have found a fare of 1500GBP to SJC next month (DME-LHR-NYC-CLT-SJC-CLT-NYC-LHR-DME = 920TP), Fare basis is INN4EMN7. The rules on stopovers and transfers state:

Category 8: Stopover restrictions
UNLIMITED STOPOVERS PERMITTED ON THE PRICING UNIT LIMITED TO 2 FREE AND UNLIMITED AT USD 300.00 EACH. NONE IN CUBA 2 FREE IN AREA 1/AREA 2 UNLIMITED IN AREA 1/AREA 2 AT USD 300.00 EACH.

Category 9: Transfer restrictions
1 TRANSFER PERMITTED IN EACH DIRECTION FREE FREE IN AREA 3 IN EACH DIRECTION. AND - 3 TRANSFERS PERMITTED IN EACH DIRECTION FREE FREE IN AREA 2 IN EACH DIRECTION. AND - 2 TRANSFERS PERMITTED IN EACH DIRECTION FREE FREE IN THE UNITED STATES IN EACH DIRECTION FARE BREAK SURFACE SECTORS NOT PERMITTED AND EMBEDDED SURFACE SECTORS PERMITTED ON THE FARE COMPONENT.
However adding an inbound stopover in London increases the return fare component by over 700GBP (same fare basis). What other fare rule might I be falling foul of?

The BA INCRU45 fare will price correctly with a stopover in LON, but isn't routable over CLT, so to earn the 920 TPs, route ...JFK-LAX-SJC and back.

The difference I can see between the AA INN4EMN7 and the BA INCRU45 is that the BA fare explicitly rules out any HIP checks, but not so the AA (the HIP exceptions is absent, so by default there is a HIP check on the stopover).

I'm trying to get to LAS towards the end of this month, or very early next month and can't seem to come up with anything under £2500 in C. Any ideas?

Positioning and Visa are quite cumbersome though.

Got to say that Algiers literally never entered my mind!

And yes, probably a bit far on the trouble/reward scale!

Ams-lhr-cpt €1140

Booked yesterday on BA site for travel in January, returning 6 Feb. Fares triple the week after. 400 tier points and 26,078 avios.
The Avios will go up if I can work out a 420 tier point run for October...suggestions welcome!

Do you mean £1,140? I can't get the price down to €1,140.

It's interesting that this one is still around.

Perhaps it's BA trying to dissuade KLM from increasing capacity? Or perhaps just the seasonal dynamics of CPT?

Perhaps this is just a bad choice of thread title rather than a cross-posting. @geminigirl789 is asking about suggestions for a tier point run. She also explained in the Premium Fare Deals forum why she ended up posting twice.

Not sure if my memory is going or the MIL-DXB fares are cheaper at the moment. Just booked at under £1,050, and I seem to remember it being £1200ish previously.

It seems they are cheaper. They were around 1230/1260 eur usually, now they're marked down to 1138 until March 2019.

Pity the deal DXB - Asia around 750 eur with UL is gone, I think.
