The TUN-PEN fare is interesting as not only can it return to ARN it can open jaw (in my case I want KBV)

inhiwever cant see a sensible / easy way of getting to TUN from London - any easyJet or Ryanair that I’m missing ?, or is it an Air France connecting flight

Forgot to add - it is in August and about £700 less than a ARN straight return

Doesn't look like it - I saw various connecting options [AF, AZ, Air Malta], none brilliant for timing. There is Tunisair direct from LHR/LGW - varies by day of the week for airport and timing. Not sure I'd like to rely on that one on the day though. Bottom line - looked like an overnight in Tunis, adding to expense and holiday requirement. I understand the security situation to have improved, and wouldn't actually mind looking around the city but the extra day is more of an issue [can't justify these as runs - want to make them semi-sensible holidays].

As I mention, if QR change the timing by >2hrs they allow a reroute up to 500 miles. I think that means FCO, PSA and NCE come into play* - so that would be ideal but does rely on a schedule change.

EDIT: It's also only single OJ - in my case I'd rather OJ on the far end for a few days in SIN and a few on a beach, but that requires returning to TUN and the worse return positioning options.

*I say "think" because someone on a QR thread was denied/had trouble changing AMS to DUB - I don't know exactly how it was resolved. I got AMS changed to LHR easily enough.

Technically, yes - but in September at least the MLA-TUN flight is 0235 four days a week. Not a time of night I'd want to be departing/arriving/getting to a hotel, etc myself!

Not sure what the Tunisians have done to piss off the flight scheduling department at KM!

Any little bit of advice or any links to somewhere that some good tips are documented would be great.

I'd be interested in further tips too. Currently using the Premium Fares forum and when I know when I want to go I use ITA Matrix and plug in a bunch of EU airports. Is there a better way?

Trailfinders promotion

I've just received an email from Trailfinders advertising a BA Club World Promotion to North America.
https://www.trailfinders.com/findit....s?OpenDocument
I'm currently at work, so unable to explore further.

If it's ILX5C7S4, it seems to have a 7 day minimum stay.

Might be worth looking at MCT-PEN instead? Only £727, can position direct on BA, gets access to Al-Safwa on the return.
