Marseilles Airport

Travelling Club Europe from MRS. Have done OLCI but finishing a meeting in town. Need to check in a luggage. What is the latest time that I can turn up at the airport?

I think that the standardised check-in closing time for short-haul flights from Europe is 45 minutes. Should be indicated on the Boarding pass PDF. I passed through it earlier this week but didn't have a bag to check. BA is in terminal 1 hall A (the one in the middle, between hall B and the shed for LCCs that they call Terminal 2). I didn't save the PDF so I can't check...

Thanks very much for the information. I did check in online but this is one of the airports that I can’t print my own boarding pass or use a mobile boarding pass (perhaps because of my passport).

NickB is our MRS specialist. 45 minutes is indeed the minimum and the airport terminal is not huge. If you plan to come by bus it can take a while and there can be traffic; train is far more dependable but you have to get off at Vitrolles-Aeroport station from which you need a short shuttle bus ride (a la LTN basically).

It should say in Manage My Booking under Check-in the More Ways to Check-in. In the absence of that I would assume 2 hours, and outside holiday peaks (including Muslim holidays) 1 hour is fine there.

I’d like a LON-MRS evening night stopper.

Perfect. Thanks.

I have a lunch in Cassis and I'm up in the boondocks of Provence, so I just want to time my arrival for the flight back to SYD via LHR (not on BA all the way).

I haven't flown BA in a couple of years, but good FM it's average these days.
