To Norway - where we embark on an ex-OSL to far away, warmer lands. 4 weeks' annual leave booked up, so I'm getting pretty excited!

Heading off to VLC in CE (my first ex-LGW) on Thursday and back next week. Then off to Stockholm for a snowy but hopefully non-disrupted 48hrs over Christmas Day.

Vienna for a week with DH from 20th. Dinner booked for 24th and a side trip to Bratislava is planned. All we need is a little snow for the big day. Booked with BA holidays and discounted with the BA Amex cash back deal. Thanks for the heads up from you guys here on flyertalk!

BA are bringing me home from Naples in the New Year (exit row, more room for my frame than CE).

Easyjet are taking us to Sicily (on Boxing day), Ryannair for Sicily to Rome, and the train from Rome to Naples.

For the first time in 10+ years, no, BA aren't taking me away. Booked LH Group instead and will tip me over to FTL.

This year, BA are taking me away (sans coat) to Helsinki. I then hope to overnight in the airport Hilton which I hope is accessible via a heated corridor and then I will be transferring to Qatar Airways who are taking me to Bangkok. BA CW was nearly 3 times as much, so QR it was then.

Last time I did the walk about 18 months ago, whilst it's covered, it's not heated and open to the elements. You will need a coat at this time of year to do that walk.

Oh dear. A coat is not really an option. I wonder how many t-shirts I can put on at once? I also have a wetsuit which would provide some insulation, but might look a bit odd in Helsinki in December.
