He may come across as a nice guy on camera... Off, not so sure... Well, not onboard and down route. Maybe different person outside of work.

When I learned to fly (as part of my mid-life crisis during semi-retirement) I thought the short-sleeved plus tie thing on pilots, including my instructors, was a bit naff. In retrospect, I accepted that if you have to wear a uniform it does have some practicality in terms of both body heat regulation in widely differing climates in the same day both inside and outside, and from the walk around where oil and grease marks are an inevitability when poking about (and skin cleans more easily!).

Nice video!He also offers small gifts of different airline merchandise on twitter if you can answer some of his questions..which my son did but wasn't the first picked and I thought nothing of it until he private messaged me asking for our address etc so he could send some stuff anyway 👍
I'm sure he has better things to do with his time so this was a very nice touch.
