BA/AA Pleasant Surprises
Flew ABZ-LHR-MIA-MCO yesterday in economy. First pleasant surprise was a private car transfer from T5 - T3 and shown straight to the lounge.
The second was myself (gold), wife (silver) and daughter (bronze) all directed to the AA First Lounge, where the surroundings and service were extremely good.
The third surprise was the refurbished AA B777-200 and as luck would have it I had picked MCE row 15, which turned out to be Premium Economy seats with excellent IFE quality and a nice small and airy cabin section. The seat comfort and space also pretty impressive.
The whole experience certainly confirmed the benefits of having that gold card!
