No FLUB for me yesterday on 0093, Club World wasn't full so no need. Shame to see F just sitting empty, I would have paid something to upgrade my seat to F (only the seat not full F) and I am sure other would when the it is the old Club World seats on the plane.

It seems my plane type has changed for a flight on Saturday, A 787-8 for a 787-9.
I was in 3K which now doesn't exist and says it's a (middle), My seat does not appear on the seat map.
Only 2 window seats left, Should I move to one of those or have I been moved already?
Really annoying if I lost my window with direct aisle access.

Just checked in and they had actually moved me to 13k. So I do have direct aisle access. So I'm happy now.
It's not busy at all so I wouldn't think F will open.
Lets see what tomorrow brings.

So I got 13K at check in with 27 empty J seats, but the 787-9 got delayed so it once again changed aircraft back to a 787-8.and I was back in 3K. Back where I started.

Plane configured with first class, but no longer offered on for sale
If the plane is configured with first class, but first class isn't being sold. Can club world customers request the seats ? Or is this generally for customers with status when club world is full.

This is the thread you want, it's called FLUB ‘FLUB’ class: travel in First (F) cabin but with Club (J) service on 4-class aircraft
Basically the F seats will only open up if CW is full, and basically you would be selected rather than request seats. Service will still be CW.

I don't believe that would be usually - to some extent the criteria is a little vague but it is thought status is a significant factor.

I'm travelling from LGW to PUJ this Thursday (BA2205). There are two of us under the same booking, both travelling via Club World. Just checked the seating availability via BA app and there as only 1 seat available. Would this likely be a FLUB for the flight?

Given no 4 class based aircraft are based at Gatwick it's unlikely. What seat map is it showing you? If rows 1-4 are Club (standard Gatwick 777) then no FLUB.

Your aircraft is a 3-class aircraft (ie. no First). BA are still selling 6 seats in Club; 5 seats are blocked.
