Are photo cameras, batteries, power banks allowed in the cabin baggage to USA?

Hi

I will fly from LHR to NYC with British Airways .
Is it allowed to have 2 photo cameras, 4 batteries (for camera) and 1 power bank as hand baggage and take into cabin?

If starting from the UK or Europe (excluding IST) then this all OK on services to the USA.

Technically you need to be able to switch them on and show they are functioning, but I think they gave up on that idea a few days after that particular policy's implementation. Personally I would prefer you to have all those items in the cabin with you, and ideally not too far from your line of sight.

Yes i think there should not be a problem as i traveled to Dfw in may this year with 4 camera batteries 2 laptop batteries and a 3500maH power bank for iphone/ipad the only rule is that the contacts are covered so as not to cause a short or damage to the battery. As a side note i have DoT License to put secured cargo direct onto aircraft so putting batteries into the hold in suitcases is a big no no there are a lot of rules on this in that commercial cargo have to be shipped by either surface or on cargo aircraft only mainly due to the fire risk, i hope this helps.

Assuming they're Li-ion, and I'm reading the guidance correctly then you have one battery too many.

I suspect that in practice you're unlikely to be stopped.
