A little bit of BA magic

I came across this from a Fb friend, quite touching.

It is a project called BA Magic and aims to help and inspire those are overcoming life changing challenges.

It's a Facebook link, sorry I can't work out how to change that!

Don't worry too much, I suspect this may have been posted a little earlier today.

Another #BAmagic video - Joe's first flight back

If you want a Mod to do something, you need to press the relevant button in the bottom left corner, they don't necessarily read every post...

I saw this too and thought wow. So much better than the aunt jetting off to HK for 24hrs a genuinely warming story.

So BA are spending all the money into these 'promo videos'

I rather they just use the money in a productive way i.e more improvement on plane, salaries for crew and key infrastructures...

I know they are, 400 million pounds for their business class relaunch and also refresh of lounges etc.

BUT the thing is, if they didn't spend an x amount on these videos, they could have used it somewhere else where more finance is needed.

There's a marketing budget. There's always a marketing budget. And it could always be said that if BA didn't spend money on marketing, they could spend that money elsewhere "more needed". But there's always going to be a marketing budget.

you have to look at the bigger picture. These nice videos that BA keep doing make people go all gooey and think "awww" isn't that nice of British Airways to do such a lovely thoughtful thing" and in turn it is good advertising for them 😊
