Not convinced.

Why would current GGLs achieving more than 3000 but less than 5000 bother to credit to BAEC? In fact, apart from the first Gold Upgrade voucher why would they credit anything over 1500?

I'd think as a collective, they're pretty important to BA.

To cast them aside (and effectively render them Gold) could be fairly big folly in my view.

i do think that GGL and CCR card should be the same criteria but maybe 4K is a reasonable compromise. I would really like to see recognition at least with the JV partners for the super tier. GGL boarding with CK would be white nice as an enumerated benefit. Same with flagship check in at AA hubs in the US

You can already use the flagship checkin I believe.

Flagship checkin is available to all OWEs now, although getting past the podium can be tricky as most staff still only want to let in F customers on the list.

No issues for me recently at JFK and then escorted to the front of the security queue whilst being announced as a very important person.

I personally believe that requalification should be higher.
If you fly enough to hit 5000TP, 3000 isn't really any major amount if you want to keep GGL pretty exclusive and not open to anyone doing 2-3 TP runs a year to hit the threshold.
There seems to be a few here easily hitting 7000TP and above.
