Sad news indeed. Sleep well, Dave ... at least you have left behind a great memorial for your family to re-read once the initial pain has subsided.


As PUCCI noted upthread, life is a tenuous thing. An old RAF colleague has terminal C ... sold his company, retired as a millionaire and now has about 18 months to spend it. It makes my passing brush with C seem like a broken fingernail in comparison.

I appreciate that this is very sad but he wont be in pain now.

Which I appreciate some might not understand in some aspects, is actually a big deal.

Obviously my thoughts are with friends and family. sometimes the easiest person is actually in hospital.

Sad news, condolences to family and friends. In light of the illness his experiences and advice were inspiring both on here and the Money Savings Expert travel forum.
