I've mentioned the idea of a CCR DO a couple of times, and there seems to be interest in the idea.
Doing a B2B would be the best way to all meet up, and a trip to AMS or elsewhere could be done in a morning.
Would CCR holders rather have a DO during the WEEK or WEEKEND? Please mark your preference below:

I maintain the suggestion that a DO in the CCR would be entertaining.
We could even do a b2b, meaning nobody would lose too much time!

The b2b 'TP run' would also earn us some TPs.
We would need to warn manager M in advance to get the staff prepared, the LPGS stocked up and on ice (for the many) and coffee (+ cup) for a notable few (one), depending on attendance!

if all you guys turn up , say 50 plus, then as long as we are not in CA or NV, then we shall join. It sure would be funny.
But be warned and afraid, I may embarrass everyone. Let me put it this way, I still act like I’m 21!
PS if it does happen (BA may ban us all) then indeed I think they need to stock up on the LPGS. Maybe we can request certain bartenders too.... ..

I very much like the idea of this, and would be glad to join. I've seen a few of you around the lounge, but have never had the chance to say hello. Of course, it would depend on being able to fit it in around travel arrangements; I imagine that getting 20, let alone 70, CCR cardholders in the same lounge at the same time would be a challenge that even the world's top logistic firms would shirk away from!

Indeed. Can you imagine the resultant whingeing thread that would be inflicted on the rest of the BAEC Flyertalk community when a bunch of CCR cardholders on an economy LHR-NCL back-to-back were denied entry for the trivial reason that BA wanted to keep a few seats (and perhaps some food and booze) for their actual First Class passengers? We'd be debating the appropriate amount of compo and what the European Court of Human Rights will have to say about it for months...

Suggest we send a PM when we are available.
HaikoW, please send me a PM if/when you would like to meet.
The OH and I will be fitting in Elemis sessions, having breakfast in the dining area and propping up the bar, depending on who is on duty at the bar on Friday AM.
Anyone else in the CCR on Friday AM, please send me a PM if you would like to meet.
Apologies to the OP and Mods for diverting the thread!

I wonder if the apparent lack of CCR members is just down to people either not putting their flying in the same place, or not bothering to claim.
My boss, in his previous company (until ~10 years ago) used to do two business class returns MAN-LHR-XXX on BA every month for a decade or so (flying to the Middle East). (That's 3/4 of the way to GGLFL by the way).
He's just not aware of any of it.

I think you are bang on! Some people would not care less about posting on here and showing off there status! Where as others do it to think they are important I personally know someone on this forum who has put he is BA Bronze but is actually a BA Premier; he is not one to show off and he is a bit of a comedian so it suits his character doing this
We do have a Prem or two who partake in the forum and who do not wear their badge d'honneur
