According to Flightradar, the BA297 on 20th April was operated by G-ZBKF.
According to the Wiki in the WiFi thread, that 787-9 is one of the 4 out of 18 that does not yet have WiFi.
You can often normally see whether an aircraft has it fitted before boarding by looking out the window. If you see the WiFi dome you will know it's fitted with it

Over the last year, with about 30 short-haul and 20 long haul flights on ba planes, all had WiFi.
All worked well enough but a350 charging model based on volume of data is a real problem if you use it a lot.

despite it being on a lot of aircraft my experience is that it can not be relied upon to work.
Maybe 50% of long haul flights, and can also be patchy through the flight.
If you are planning on being available for work all day on a day flight for example I wouldn't risk it.

We had an EAN update today specific to flights to Cyprus, where the network is now active most of the way to Cyprus. There is still no service immediately around Cyprus itself, and that will be added in the first months of 2023. There is also currently no service over the water west of Cyprus to the Aegean Sea, but a new installation on a small island south of Turkey will extend EAN there in the next couple of weeks. Once these upgrades are complete, EAN will be available to BA end-to-end on Cyprus flights, with possible exceptions due to unusual routing, of course.
