BA 777 Seating query
I apologise as a new member if I have posted this somewhere I shouldn't.
I have booked to fly to Orlando in may from Gatwick on with BA on one of their 777`s.
I have booked row 42 A and B which is one of three rows of two seats at the rear of the aircraft. However, when you check the seating configuration for the two classes of 777-200 or even the 777-300 that BA fly, none have three rows of two seats at the back.
Can anyone shed light on my query?

If the seat map you are choosing from on ba.com shows 2-3-2 then you are on the former.

The LGW 777's are being refurbished from early next year and this is the new layout which shows the paired seating at the back of the plane.
So, it looks like your flight is planned for that at the moment although your seatmap shows 9 across?!
Welcome to Flyertalk and the BA Board Wintle1970 and thanks for your question. There is more info on this, way too much to list here and many other matters which you may find useful.

Ha!
I just did a dummy booking for a random date in May (25th) which shows the new configuration
Row 20-31 is the front Y cabin
(20 is a bulkhead)
Row 32-46 is the rear Y cabin with the 3 pairs numbered: 42, 43 and 44
(32 is the exit rows and 33 seems greyed out bar a few middle seats available )
It is showing both cabins as 10 across so I suspect it is a glitch on the OP's MMB page.
