I am sure the OP did not mention Chris Sutton in the "celebrity" thread is because he is fully aware that someone who played football for some pretty average teams a long time ago does not rate as a celebrity. I confess without the help of dear Dr Google I would not know most of the "celebrities" mentioned on this board.

The way I understand it is that the OP is Chris Sutton but is not THE Chris Sutton (who may or may not be considered a celebrity). He has changed his FlyerTalk handle - presumably to avoid cases of mistaken identity - so why mention Chris Sutton in the title at all!

Unlike Chris Sutton, a lot of those footballers who currently bask in the celebrity limelight have not been in teams that won the Premiership. I would also strongly advise you not to describe Celtic as a 'pretty average team' if you ever happen to be in Glasgow.

I thought this was gunna include some gossip about someone robins stuff from the CCR - that would make them a crook

But as he changed his username does that make him a newman?

Or maybe I haven't got an efan ekoku what's going on - maybe I need to head back to my culverhouse?

But you need to be on the ball to understand

I may be the only other person here who understands every word of this!

I do conclude that AyeCaramba may therefore be a bit of a sly fox.

Proof positive certainly that we do, indeed, dew different in Norfolk ...

SAS would be more interesting. The second S was nothing without the first.

When a former colleague of mine invited a customer to a football match, the reply was "Football?? You can take me shooting!"

My son took me to a football match many years ago ... was it Arsenal? Whichever, Big Executive Box overlooking the pitch. All anyone did there was drink ... the match was irrelevant. I shared that view, and drank accordingly

That would probably sum up Arsenal. You regularly see the ground start to empty long before the end.

Not sure I've heard of Chris Sutton.

Let us know when Brian Clough is in the CCR; he does qualify as a celebrity!
