Minor schedule change and rebooking

I've got an upcoming flight (EDI-LHR-BLL) that I like to move a couple of days. A while back I was notified of a 25 minutes schedule change. Could I use this as an excuse to get a free rebooking or will BA tell me to take a hike? The schedule change really doesn't make much difference to my itinerary, it just cuts down my lay-over at LHR slightly.

You can change it +/- two days.

An advantage of booking a season or two in advance and getting a great price is you're likely to have a schedule change which can work in your favour

Does this rule also apply to Avios redemption bookings? (On BA metal)

Last week I had to change flights (Reward) due to a cancelled OAK service, full carte blanche to other reasonable flights. Took an SFO which was all round better - including Upper Deck 744

Very helpful! Thank you. (I have UD 747 booked to SFO in December. Can't wait!)

I don't know if there are rules, but I (quite cheekily) tried to amend the date of a non-flex revenue booking booking after a 15 minute schedule change and was politely but firmly told 'no'.

I don't know whether I was unlucky or whether there's a firm cut-off in BA's policy, but I didn't press the issue.

Under 2 hours, it's change free of charge ± 2 days. Over 2 hours, it's ± 14 days or a refund. Policy.

Nice -- did they re-book you into additional reward inventory or have you switched fare category?
