Seat blocks as flight date approaches

Looking on the seat map on EF, for BA113 ex LHR 16:05 on Monday (ie now T-72) I see loads of Xs in J and even 4F in F

Almost none of them are eg bassinet seats. So what do they represent - theoretical seat assignments for non status pax or something?

Just curious. New to EF.

Cheers

Yes that is Theoretical Seating mainly. Full details in the TS thread in the Forum Dashboard. It can also be allocations for expected future seat movements, which is probably 4F.

Cheers - just seen another poster ask basically the identical Q. So now I know what theoretical seating is. Once again - learn something new every day here....
