Ill admit to a tinge of disappointment when I read the preview menu earlier this week - it dawned on me the main course salad was not there and it is a dish I appreciate and enjoy. I have to say though, the combined offering looks incredibly appetising - the salad starter seems to be a big improvement too*
* no more battling with those stubborn La Organic olive oil bottle tops

I'll answer the specific questions raised in the thread tomorrow (Saturday). But I have put the FAQ up.
Many, many thanks for the kind words. And I'm amazed we got to post 50 with barely any criticism of BA's approach here!

Thank you very much corporate-wage-slave for that detailed report.
Having done a few I know there is a lot of time and effort that goes into such TR's so hat tip and I am sure the denizens of the board appreciate your efforts.

I had a delicious hot smoked salmon salad on LHR-JFK recently so I will miss the salad option. That said I look forward to all the other improvements.
One thing I'm wondering is: was the food ever a big complaint? I mean it's nice to have an improvement. Based on threads on here, the food never seemed to be a big issue (particularly on daytimes ex-LHR). It is interesting that there's a big investment on something we didn't see complained about here.
(Maybe I missed those contretemps.)

c-w-s, as always thank you for your efforts here, perhaps more in sacrificing yourself trying to eat it all rather than the write-up! A couple of questions:
- with the move to placing the nuts in a bowl, are they now served warm?
- one of the issues I found with the DO&Co sandwiches on their existing contract for CWLCY was that they became rather dry and slightly curly by the time service reached Row 7. Your photo appears to show a significant improvement. Is this due to a serving arrangement change compared to the Babybus?

Thanks CWS for the excellent and detailed report as always. And thanks to BA for a genuinely better experience!
If it's the Apex Suite or similar, I agree!
