I hope there is some change for you. Being "just" a GGL seems to be exactly the same as Gold benefits once the booking is made and you're in the airport or on the plane. It would be nice if the 100k+ club is properly looked after

Congrats! I'll never reach LTGGL but am aiming for LTG next year.

Amazing. They should give you something special. Windsor suite? F cabin to yourself? who knows.
Personally I think A. Cruz should polish your shoes for you on F.

I have heard 'a handful', something around fifty, and between two and three hundred! For some reason it seems to be particularly hard to get a consistent (and, hopefully, accurate) number. Anyway, I think the answer is 'not many' in the context of all the BAEC cardholders. Enjoy!

I guess there’s a trade-off between the fabulously enhanced status, requiring insane amounts of flying, and the underlying salary (+bonus) associated with it ... that someone thinks justifies that travel pattern!!
I’m not sure I wouldn’t just prefer the salary, tbh!

Bravo, Scallops, in joining the club. While you won't see much difference from your current treatment there is one that Tobias-UK raised that can be very welcome . You will get more attention from the Concorde/Special Services team. For example, on GVA-LHR-NBO, they will usually meet you at T5 and Jag you over to T3. I was met this week by a charming Concorde staff member on arriving from SIN. She said that the Concorde team is being expanded and that several of them are receiving their "drive a Jag round the airport training"..
One nice thing about GGL for life is that it usually comes at a time when the 7-8,000 TPs/annum are starting to decrease significantly (after all it's taken 25 years to get there), so now with my rapidly decreasing work travel (but increasing personal travel!!), there are no lounge or other service related "enhancements'.

Well done to both Scallops and Lolbert. Very impressive going and a more exclusive club than Premier, if I am not mistaken.
Frank van der Post was spot on when he introduced Lifetime recognition. It would be nice to have the sure touch back in BA Brands & Customer Expérience (or whatever it is called these days).
