Prospero - thank you for that information. Do I win a prize? Possibly a free downgrade from CE to ET.
Wow - seven of the top ten trending threads. Further proof, if any were needed, that the FT BAEC forum is the place to be!

What he promised me I cannot reveal on a Family Show - but seriously I think that we get visits from people who come just for the Loony Tunes aspect of what we write about.
It is a friendly place after all - and quite unageist as I would imagine that HIDDY would be well in line as Grandpa Flies-Again of FlyerTalk.
After that - those who want popcorn or soft drinks can go and get them now as when those pair wake up there are bound to be repercussions.

If you ask a question you can get a reply much faster than any phone call to BA would and you get a better answer.
I think the welcoming nature is one thing and the speed of reply. I've asked the odd question on the LH forum and you get this sort of why are you posting a question.... I think they have forgotten the point of a forum.
There is also a rag-bag bunch of characters on here a la bash street kids style.

2.363 million = Delta Air Lines 1.264 million + United Airlines 1.099 million
2.120 million British Airways
103k British Airways
083k = Delta Air Lines 54k + United Airlines 29k
doesnt BA forum also have a lot of non BA discussion, still ?
but does have fewer posters & much smaller UK population

The knowledge amongst members as a whole is incredible, from the major contributors to the infrequent ones and as well as the sense of community and discussion. The humour is always good too where relevant and Do's are a great place to meet other FTr's.
Of course there will always be disagreements and points of views and as long as it does not get personal and debates the actual point, that is one of the things I enjoy.

I think BA is top because there is just so much happening! It's amazing to hear everyone's experiences. I don't think the other airlines can compete in terms of service.
