J Enhancements - LHR-JFK
 

Got a trip to NYC in J next month. Anyone know when they're rolling out all the new minor enhancements (particularly the mattress topper / duvet etc). I think the JFK route gets it first, but don't know which planes / flights etc.

I'm on BA113 mid sep, which I think looks like super hi J from the seat map.

In the Autumn on the JFK route so you should have it (depending on BA's definition of Autumn).

The enhancements start both ways on the 1st September on all flights to and from JFK.

Including LGW and LCY?

CIHY will confirm for sure but I believe the answer is no. Just LHR-JFK-LHR.

That's a shame as I fly back from JFK on 29th!

When you say "all flights", does that mean we get the new bedding on day flights as well (presumably on request)?

Sorry LHR only, new catering equipment, food, bedding and washbag.
The new bedding will be on the seats on ALL LHR JFK LHR flights.

Are there any planned catering improvements for the early services that feature breakfast as the main meal?

I'm still curious to learn where they are going to store all of the extra bedding.

There is a new service for all meals including breakfast.
The bedding will be loaded on each seat and includes two pillows, a duvet and mattress cover, they aware loaded in a zipped bag.
