Champagne for Breakfast?

Hello Everyone

First post, been lurking for a few weeks

I am on BA466 in a couple of weeks, LHR-BIO, in CE.

I have been reading the food menu on here and there was no mention of a bar service, scheduled departure is 08:35.

Can you tell me if there will be a bar run up front?

Thank you

There won't be a "bar run" but you can ask for Champagne and you shall receive

Oh and welcome to FT DanAirLondon

Hi DanAirLondon, my last 0640 CE flight I asked the CC if it was too early for champagne and got a big smile and the reply "Madam, it is never too early for champagne."

Enjoy your flight, and welcome to FT.

Doesn't everyone have Champagne for Breakfast?

Actually - one of my pet miffs about CE I have never mentioned here. That is they serve that carton made-from-concentrate juice that I won't allow in the house. I remember when there was a glass of "fresh" squeezed juice.

The other is fit to make a Buck's Fizz - especially if they are serving those screw top bottles.

What's wrong with marmite on toast?

It'd be nice if that was available in CE.

Don't forget you can also ask the lounge staff at the Galleries lounge for some champagne! (it's not self service for champagne)

Just realised that Bilbao leaves from T3. In which case, forget the BA Galleries Lounge and have it in the Cathay Pacific Business Class Lounge!
