LHR to SIN- which flight?

Hi,
I am looking at booking flights to Singapore next June in J, I have the choice of the 777 or A380. I'm assuming the A380 would be the better option but having flown neither of these in Club world I just wanted to lean on the wisdom of the forum and get some opinions. flight timings etc don't really matter as it's purely a leisure trip..thanks

Thanks folks, confirming what I was thinking. Its an AMEX 241 so SQ is a non starter in this instance. I was surprised at the good amount of availability for the dates we wanted, it was just a cursory glance a couple of hours ago for dates around the wife' birthday and now its a definate I think.

Done that route on 747, 777 and A380, it's a very easy vote for A380

It's quite common to get F on SIN far out, and on the A380 it's very comfortable. Have you the Avios to stretch to this?

Unfortunately I don't, just had enough for Club. Thought about buying Avios to make it happen as there was some availability but didn't bother in the end, we've never done F ex LHR so we are keen to try the CCR etc...maybe next time.

Hmmm for 2-4-1 I'd purchase those Avios and not think twice - 26 hours in F will be well worth it or 13 if you want to buy less

I'm F back from SIN A380 next month looking forward to it ^

Good point....at least I will earn the extra Avios on the AMEX as well I suppose.

Take the A380 if in CW.

In F I'd say it's not quite as clear cut.

There really is no contest you should take the A380 option without hesitation.

The only question is whether to go upstairs (quieter and nicer) or downstairs and take the centre couple seats which are nice when travelling with a partner.

Went to Singapore in F earlier in the year on the A380 and loved it much better than Club.
