Two companion vouchers

We booked flights for a holiday in September a while ago using a companion voucher.

Since then I have received another companion voucher. We are now rethinking the location of our booked September holiday and want to cancel. However that would mean we are holding two companion vouchers, something I have a funny feeeling is not allowed.

Could anybody confirm either way.

Many thanks

Yes, it's allowed. In fact, if four of you travel you can use both at once.

For reference, a 3-for-1 redemption is also possible with two vouchers.

No it's not, 2 vouchers can be used as a 4-for-2, not 3-for-1. This is clearly stated in the T&C's.

It's meant to be 4-for-2, but there have been a few stories of folks who successfully talked the phone agents into booking 3-for-1.

I'm quite sure I had three vouchers at one time so two is definitely permissible

As noted by nux, one or two people have claimed to have booked a 341, which involves three people total traveling (two companions and one voucher holder), two vouchers, and one lot of avios (for the voucher holder's travel). Here is one thread:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...ouchers-2.html

I have asked BAEC on more than one occasion if this is possible and have been repeatedly told that an avios redemption is required for each voucher used. Two vouchers requires two lots of avios. The only method for allowing a third person to fly using a single voucher is if the third person is an infant.
