Alright. Boarding soon so we'll see.

Looks like 3 rows - from "BA Source" yesterday

"Qatar Airways A320SL A7-LAA positioned Doha – London Heathrow as QR3257 this afternoon for British Airways wet-lease operations. The aircraft is in 12J/153Y configuration with fixed formation recliners in Business Class."

Indeed 3 rows — wrong info given by the agent.

Even in Al Maha livery, the aircraft still has 2x2 J class seating with reasonable leg room.

Having 4 engines and ex-emirates first (albeit angled flat) for ED is a slight overkill innit?

This is usually a 767 job with Eurofleet crew, so I'd guess the reason for this sub is to release a 767's worth of EF crew to cover some MF Airbus work?

Hmm, I gather that sending a QR plane to IST on BA's behalf is a politically interesting move...

Turkey shouldn't mind; they've been supporting the State of Qatar over the Gulf blockade.

QR aircraft aren't going to be sent anywhere they won't be able to fly (CAI, TLV, etc.)

Worth adding, that the blockade is against all State of Qatar registered aircraft - so whether the aircraft is flying under a BA lease or not, is irrelevant.
