Father's flight ORD-LHR 296 was canx. He was booked in WTP (avios + GUF1). Was rebooked on the AA flight in Y. Called up GGL and got rebooked on the 294 in WTP. Kinda sucks as now he has to reschedule some afternoon meetings as he is departing 3hrs earlier, but at least he still has a flight and in the same cabin.

Also seems the later flight ORD-LHR BA296 is canx 28/07 till 01/08

I'm not a frequent BA passenger and just got off a long haul 777-200ER flight with a MF crew. The captain announced before departure that the cabin crew was down by 2, for a total of 9. The 2 crew in F were still excellent if a bit frazzled. They apologized for a delay in lunch after take off so they could help prep the service in CW.

Has anyone had their LHR-PHL BA067 flight cancelled and what did BA do to rebook and accommodate you and how long in advance were you told. We are staying at LHR hotel the night before, 13 days parking at short stay carpark, hotel for 1 night at PHL airport, Avis carhire for 10 nights and then 10 nights in accommodation. So even a 1 day delay would give a nightmare in sorting out. Also we are on a 241 in First and our granddaughter who we booked for is also in First, paid Club and upgraded with avios. As these are 2 separate bookings I phoned You First and asked if they could be linked. The agent said she would do it so would these mean we are treated as a party of 3 for any cancellations. I had put some of this up before so apologies for that.

The 073 to AUH must be gone as well, seeing as my 072 return in the early hours is cancelled.

Auto re-route to the 106 out of DXB.

As a matter of interest, do BA arrange transport from AUH to DXB, or do you have to sort it out yourself (reclaim travel costs from BA)?

I've just booked a Careem car. I'll be putting the receipt in for a reclaim. I presume they will pay me back.

Correct. It's a fudge-it around the innards of FLY, otherwise the boarding passes don't scan properly. There are two entries shown, one gets cancelled but the other stays live.

So they do. Hadn't noticed that. I shall remove them from the list. Thanks.

I would have thought these would be the absolute last flights to go- I'm sure Mark Warner etc have very punitive contract provisions if BA fail to deliver a plane load of their paid up holiday guests!
