Interling bags

Flying to jfk from lcy on ba. Connecting to an aa flight to iah , would ba interlin my bags all the way to iah ??

On separate tickets no.

AFAIK you will still have to collect your checked luggage in JFK to clear customs and then hand them over to AA check in desk for onward travel to IAH. In this case even if they were interlined, in practice it would make little difference.

Not from BA1 as it arrives as a domestic. You might want to hang around by the baggage belt for a bit, just to make sure your bag doesn't come out.
