Promotion to Gold

Hi,

I'm close to moving from Silver to Gold but my membership year has another 5 months to run. When I move to Gold will my Gold status last for the remainder of my membership year plus another year or will the my membership year be reset so in effect I have 12 months of Gold status from moving from Silver to Gold.

I can't seem to find a clear answer on this. Thanks to anyone who can answer this, and sorry if this is an obvious question.

Membership years no longer reset when you're promoted, they did under the old system.

You'll have Gold for the remainder of this membership year and the whole of the next one too.

All of the remaining membership year, all of the next membership year plus another ~6 weeks to card expiry. Very clearly described in the sticky: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...7-edition.html
