BA JFK Terminal 7 Security ?

Hey All,

Did a search but only found it for a few other terminals.

Does anyone know what time security opens at JFK Terminal 7 for BA ? I know the lounge is open from 5AM.

Any help will be great

Regards,

I would assume the same, I have been through at 5:30 and it is open (occasionally the 'slope' hasn't been at that time).
Logic would suggest that the lounge wouldn't open if no passengers could access it .

Just to report back on this.

It was a very interesting night at JFK, I landed at 8pm and then departed the next morning at 8am.

The time from 8pm - 5am was very interesting.

I went to every terminal around the airport and took a look around, JFK at night is a really strange place, a few people sleeping, but really not that many.

What was wrong with the several hotel options around JFK?

Well its very intereting to wonder around almost the entire airport and terminal unrestricted, I pretty much noticed no security at all during the night.

A lot of homeless people sleeping inside the check in area at terminal 7 for some reason.

No shops are open, and mainly just cleaning crew, but just feels strange being in such an international airport mainly alone, was an interesting experience. I did film the entire thing going from terminal to terminal and showing spots to sleep at etc and the 24 hour dunkin, but its not a very interesting video.

What was wrong with the several hotel options around JFK?
At the time of my over night even the worst hotel was $150 a night and for a very short amount of sleep to me its just not worth it.

I expect I'll be in the minority here, but I'd certainly be interested in seeing that video if you feel like posting it somewhere.
